Blessing of the Fleet, St. Clements Island, Maryland

The Date for the Blessing of the Fleet in St. Clements Island. Md. has been changed back to Sun. Oct. 8th.

The Optimist Club of the Seventh District will host the 39th Annual Blessing of the Fleet on the grounds of the St. Clement's Island Museum in Colton's Point. This is packed with fun, food, entertainment, demon-strations, crafts, children's activities and more! Sunday highlights include a noon parade on Point Breeze Road in front of the museum and will include high school bands, local organizations, political candidates, car clubs, etc. Another Blessing of the Boats will take place at 2 p.m. Your day will include fabulous food vendors, crafts, petting zoo, demonstrations by SMECO, oyster tong-ing demo, and presentations by the Reptile Man. There is small admission fee and shuttle parking is FREE!
